I Guess Not Today

It has been determined that we will be here one more day. Head Doc and Heart Doc are fine with her progress and will move her from CCU today. They want 24 hours of observation and some activity before they give her care to me. I think that is okay.

Jeanne still has a plugged up feeling in the left ear. They have decided to have the ENT Doc come and take a look to see if there is anything he can do to give her some relief.

Today we pray for relief from the preassure on the ear.

Again thanks for your prayers and comments. Jeanne asks me everyday if there were any new comments. She wants to get to a computer so she can read them all.

Thanks Skip

  1. Jeanne - I know it is frustrating not being able to "fly the coop", but it is good they are making sure everything is working right before you leave. We miss you and can't wait for you to come home!!!!! We will keep praying for your ear to feel better. It's so hard to be patient when we want to feel better :-)

Our love to both you and Skip -

  2. Hey, Dears!

Well, drat! One day sooner is not soon enough to know your back home and we can come see you! BUT I do agree with Barb, it is a comfort to know they are being careful with your release. Missed my pizza topping buddy last night at the end of the year party and that fine bus boy, too! :-) We hope and are praying for that ear pressure to be resolved and that you know how very, very missed you both are. Love ya!

  3. Skip and Jeanne,
I think that one more day might be a good idea considering everything Jeanne has been through. Keep positive thoughts and you will soon be home and resting, especially when you have so many people sending their best wishes.

  4. I've been skulking as a reader, not realizing that commenting was an option.

We're heading up to the ranch on Thursday, a package of Trautman's sirloins with your name on them. Work up an appetite.

  5. Jeanne, we are so glad that you have come this far! You and Skip are both very missed here. Although we pray for a speedy recovery, we don't want it to be premature, especially with all that land between Denver and here with no medical help in sight and changing altitudes. That won't feel too good on that ear. Praying that the ENT will have the wisdom to resolve that issue for you quickly and that God will continue to keep His healing hand on you. Love to you both! 6. I'm not surprised that they would keep her another day. My Dad had a pacemaker 'installed' several months ago, and that alone is no walk in the park, not to mention everything else Jeanne has been through.

The thing that I keep thinking about, is how something that I'm sure she didn't view as a blessing, having to undergo brain surgery, actually was a blessing, a great blessing.

  7. I am relieved that they will keep Jeanne another day - extra caution is a good thing considering what has taken place over these past few days.
We think about you so much and will be so happy to see you both again. We know you are in good hands there at the hospital and of course, in God's hands too..........the most important!
Get rested and see you soon.

    Good thoughts to you both,
    Jim and Jan

  9. I am glad the docs are being cautious. We don't want any more surprises. I am glad that she is doing better and that they will have her do some more activity while she is in the hospital before sending her home.

We've been thinking about you and praying for you both. Love, the 4 J's!
