Pacemaker is Working

Jeanne just came out of  "pacemaker surgery". Everything went as expected and she is resting. She is just wiped out after 5 days of this stuff. You never get any rest in CCU because they wake you up every 15 min to an hour to make sure everything is okay. If the staff is not waking you then a monitor goes off someplace.

Thank God for the staff and the monitor alarms.

Because Jeanne would not be here today without all three!

The Cardio team said they will release her tomorrow. I think the neuro team is also leaning toward a release tomorrow. We will see what happens.

Thanks for the prayers

Skip

  1. Skip, Jeanne, and family. I have just learned today about the "Dural" trials. And, I just want you to all know we've joing the prayer vigil and our sending good vibes, prayers and all good thought we can muster to help the healing. Jeanne, you may be interested to know that Dick Knecht recently had a pacemaker installed. Doctors found a fundemental flaw in his heart rythem by accident when beginning to prep him for a hernia surgery. There was some minor adjusts that have occurred over the last few weeks but he is still biking 10-50 miles a week! And, he states he's never had so much energy since he we 30. So take comfort that this procedure will surely bring you renewed energy and long life, though I 'm sure you would rather not have gone through this. But of course, by your writings I can tell that you aware well aware that there is a plan. Take care. We'll quietly follow your progress and look forward to seeing you when you feel the time is right. Godbless.
