About 20 minutes after our last post the doctor found us. Mom is in recovery, she is coherent and can follow commands. She does have a very bad headache which is to be expected considering how long they were working on her. The doc says they got 95%+ of it. And believes the rest will take care of itself. We are now waiting in a different waiting room before we go see mom in ICU where she will be staying the night. Will update more later this evening after seeing mom

Thank you so much for the updates - what a very long day for all of you. I had no idea of the length of the surgery, but given the delicate circumstances, I guess it is to be expected.

Praise the Lord for good news! It must have been an intricate procedure and thank goodness they took their time. We hope Jeanne will rest as best she can tonight and that all you wonderful family will rest as well. ReplyDeleteWell, it appears that our prayers have been answered. I'm sorry that you have a headache, Jeanne, but I guess so. We are so pleased that all is well and that rushing in your head will be a thing of the past. We certainly hope and pray that you will find pain relief. We'll be in the Hills tomorrow and hope that we can see you soon. We are very excited that you will soon be home and at peace. What a blessing that your wonderful family rallied around. See you soon.
